Category 01

Product & clinical scope

Who Perfusion Mind is for and the boundary around educational use.

Can Perfusion Mind be used for patient care?

Perfusion Mind is an educational tool for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not intended for clinical practice, patient care, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use it to make decisions about a patient. Consult a qualified physician or other licensed healthcare professional for medical advice and patient-care decisions.

Who is Perfusion Mind built for?

Perfusion Mind is designed primarily for perfusionists and perfusion students. Other extracorporeal support professionals may also find its reference and study tools useful within their training, scope, and institutional policies.

Category 02

Perfusion Assistant

Mode selection, stalled chats, and daily question counts.

What is the difference between Fast and Thinking modes?

Fast mode is designed for the quickest response time. Thinking mode is better suited to complex questions that benefit from more deliberate reasoning. You can switch modes from the chat screen.

What if a chat is stuck or blank?

Check your network connection, start a new chat to reset the current session, and reopen the app if needed. If the problem continues, email info@perfusionmind.com without including patient information.

The Perfusion Assistant timed out before answering my question. Did I just lose one of my questions for the day?

No. The app is coded in such a way so that the user is not charged a question if the Perfusion Assistant does not deliver a response to the user.

Category 03

Exam Review & subscriptions

Exam Review access, independence, pricing approach, and student plans.

Why is Exam Review locked?

Exam Review requires active yearly Pro access. Basic and Premium plans do not unlock it. Current plan availability and pricing are shown in the app.

Is Exam Review an official ABCP product?

No. Perfusion Mind is an independent educational resource. It is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP), and its questions are not official ABCP examination items or practice examinations.

Do you offer a free trial period?

Our app does not offer a free trial because, ultimately, nothing is truly free — the cost would have to be offset elsewhere, effectively raising prices for everyone. Instead, we’ve set our subscription price at a very reasonable level to ensure that if someone subscribes for a month and decides Perfusion Mind is not for them, it won’t break the bank.

Do you have a student discount?

Our app does not offer a student discount. Again, we’ve set the subscription price at a level we believe is fair for everyone, regardless of their walk of life. We've also included a yearly billing option that is designed to help individuals (effectively) pay less per month.

Category 04

Authentication & accounts

Purchase restoration and where to find sign-in troubleshooting.

How do I restore purchases?

On iPhone or iPad, open the app’s subscription area and choose Restore purchases while signed into the same Apple ID and Perfusion Mind account used for the purchase. If Android billing controls are unavailable in your installed version, email info@perfusionmind.com for account help.

Category 05

Support

How to reach Perfusion Mind when the published guidance does not resolve the issue.

Where do I get help?

The website support chatbot is temporarily unavailable. For product, account, or billing help, email info@perfusionmind.com. Please do not include patient information.
