Account and privacy requests
Delete your account and associated data
You can request deletion of your Perfusion Mind account without reinstalling the app.
Request deletion by email
Email info@perfusionmind.com with the subject “Perfusion Mind account deletion request.” Tell us the email address or phone number you use for your Perfusion Mind account so we can locate it. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you.
Do not send passwords, one-time sign-in codes, purchase receipts containing unnecessary personal details, or any patient information. Sending a request does not mean deletion has already finished. We will confirm its status and explain any additional verification needed.
What happens next
We verify control of the account before deleting it. Our target is to complete verified requests within 30 days. If additional verification, a legal requirement, or a complex provider request affects that timing, we will explain the reason and expected timing. A request is not complete until we confirm the outcome and any retained exceptions.
You do not need to reinstall the app, buy a subscription, or cancel a subscription before requesting deletion. You may also use Profile → Delete Account where available. If that flow is unavailable or fails, email us using the instructions above.
What the request covers
Account deletion includes your sign-in account, profile, associated chat history, saved exam progress and results, and account-associated feedback, subject to the limited retention exceptions below. We also assess associated subscription records and provider-held information.
Retention after deletion
Deleting an account does not immediately erase every backup or provider copy. The following retention periods describe recovery and operational records, not permission to keep your active profile or chat history indefinitely:
- Database recovery copies: point-in-time recovery history lasts up to 7 days; scheduled daily backups expire after 98 days from creation.
- Cloud logs: ordinary application log buckets retain records for 30 days; required cloud audit log buckets retain records for 400 days from creation. Logs may contain request or security metadata.
- Crash diagnostics: Firebase states that it retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from live and backup systems.
- Authentication and installation records: Firebase states that removal from its live and backup systems can take up to 180 days after the relevant deletion is initiated.
- Subscriptions, fraud prevention and legal obligations: limited transaction, anti-reuse, security and legal records may be retained while needed to prevent repeated use of a purchase, resolve a dispute or meet an applicable legal obligation. We explain any applicable exception and its retention basis when responding to your request. Apple and Google manage their own store transaction records.
- AI and speech providers: requests may have been processed by OpenAI or your device's speech provider. We assess associated provider-held data and request deletion where applicable; provider security retention and legal exceptions can remain. We will explain unresolved provider records rather than claiming they were erased. We do not promise zero retention.
These infrastructure periods were checked on September 13, 2026. A specific legal hold may require longer retention; any such exception will be explained where permitted. See Firebase's retention information for provider-managed records.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your Perfusion Mind account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel it through the store account where you purchased it.
